Torreguadiaro is the first village which sits on un-spoilt Mediterranean beaches in Cadiz province and existed long before the port of Sotogrande was even thought of. Torreguadiaro has retained a largely Spanish feel and being bypassed by all major roads is a fantastic beach holiday destination. It is a friendly, vibrant place with a nice atmosphere and a great mix of people from all walks of life.
The beaches of Torreguadiaro are deep and sandy covering several kilometers the beaches are being a mix of rocky coves and long sandy stretches, with lifeguards present in the summer months. On the beaches you can also find a number of Chiringuitos, ( beach bars ), which offer food, drink, parasols and fresh seafood.
The village has about 14 restaurants and bars with food to suit all tastes from Chinese to Italian, traditional and modern Spanish and Mediteranean cooking. The beauty of Torreguadiaro is that not only you can enjoy the food and beautiful beaches of Torreguadiaro and a ten minute stroll takes you into to its trendy neighbour which is more cosmopolitan resort of Sotogrande.
